Charles is originally from Salinas, CA and is currently a Realtor® in the Los Angeles basin focused on building wealth for his clients future. After studying Astronomy at UMass Amherst, he honed his business and management skills from the Hertz Corp. Following his fast track to management at Hertz, he returned home from a 3 month Spanish crash course in Argentina refreshed and ready to explore the hair salon business.

This required a move to Los Angeles in 2006 to develop The Hive salons with his sister and business partner, Lissa. Charles and Lissa began putting together plans to move their careers forward, and together opened the doors of The Hive in late 2008.

His favorite Davines product is the Medium Hold Pliable Paste for its natural dry look, but also loves the cleansing properties of the Purifying Shampoo.

In his free time, Charles seeks rock climbing adventures, exploring hidden gems, and geekin’ out on the evolution of the electric vehicle.
